Teacher’s Notes
Like many of you, I have been doing more reading during this time of staying closer to home. I have enjoyed many of the little booklets printed by Unity Worldwide Ministries that come to our church periodically. I spoke about one that had a great impact on me when I spoke at the end of May: 30 Days to Fearless Living.

Lavinia's Gleanings

Lavinia’s Gleanings
I don’t write nor do I particularly like to write. I can when pressed but I prefer to read. Then I like to share what I have read by talking with people. A favorite school assignment as a kid was doing book reports. I still do it. One of my many passions is to collect those short sayings from other people that touch and inspire me.

Later in the week, search for "Missoula Unity Sunday Talks" in YouTube for a video recording.

My Lenten Journey with Unity

Tue, 03/10/2020 - 11:14pm -- nleifer

As a pretty confirmed non-religionist from an early age, I have had a particularly difficult time dealing with Lent, a concept which was barely beginning to change in spite of my many years being a “Unitic.” Something about having to give up something, or “sacrifice” to prepare for the glory that is the Easter season just rubbed me the wrong way. Number one: I didn't WANT to give up anything that brings me pleasure, especially chocolate!
